    Daniel Johnson is a VENZA Partner and Co-Founder. His function revolves around developing, communicating, executing, and sustaining VENZA’s strategic initiatives.
    Daniel earned his MSc. from the University of Bristol, England. Before co-founding VENZA, Daniel founded and ran Music for Charities, a tech-based engine built to promote independent music and raise money for non-profit organizations. He was also the Director of Training Delivery at American Systems.

    Seasoned CIO/CTO/CISO with a proven history of working in the web, training, information technology and security industries. Over the last 19+ years, has had an active role in delivering products and services for a multitude of commercial and government organizations to include: Arby’s, Chick-fil-A, McKesson, EADS CASA, US Armed Forces, NSA, Komatsu, Health Management Corporation, Mandarin Oriental, Oracle / Micros, Jumeirah, Zaxby’s, Rollins, Jackson Healthcare, Hyatt, Acuity Brands, Scientific Games, Sandals and InterContinental Hotels Group.
    David currently holds the following certifications/recognitions: CISM, CISSP, PCI-QSA, PCIP, CHFI, CEH, Certified ISO/IEC 27001:2013 Lead Auditor, CNSS 4012, CNSS 4013A, CNSS 4011, CCNA Cyber Ops, CCNA Security, CCNA Routing & Switching, CCENT, Project+, Network+, Linux+, LPIC-1 Linux Administrator, and A+. He also holds a Master of Science in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance.

    Chief Technology Officer

    Jim Stark is the Chief Technology Officer at Regency Hotel Management. He is a Mechatronic engineer who brings more than 35 years of hospitality facility and IT operational experience to our team. In addition to overseeing the IT department’s daily operations, Jim is also in charge of long-term systems planning. With his expertise and guidance, Regency stays on the leading edge of hospitality systems, setting each of our properties up for continued success.
    Jim’s past experience includes Director of Engineering at one of the nation’s largest national parks. He was responsible for the day-to-day operations of 2.2 million square feet of space in 863 buildings.
    Jim’s combined expert knowledge and extensive experience of the hospitality and technology industries make him the perfect person for this position. He understands both the business side and guest experience side. Jim’s armed his team with the tools needed to make sure guests receive the best experience.
    Jim enjoys spending time with his family in his free time. He and his wife have three children and seven grandchildren.

    Timo Kettern joined Bierwirth & Kluth in July 2019 in the newly created role of Corporate Director of IT. Together with his team, he looks after all areas of IT in the hotels and the central support offices of B & K.
