M3 Named 2022 Best Cloud-Based Financial Platform by Innovation in Business

M3, the hospitality industry’s #1 cloud-based financial and data management platform, has been awarded Best Cloud-Based Financial Platform 2022 – USA and LUXlife Charity Excellence Award 2022 in the 2022 Technology Innovator Awards. M3 was chosen above other companies for its innovation, thoughtfulness, helpful methods, and pioneering software. After 24 years in business, M3 is used by more than 1,000 management groups, owner-operators, and hotels of all sizes, and boasts a 95% customer retention rate.

M3 is the leading provider of back-office accounting, business intelligence, and labor management solutions in the hospitality industry. The platform works seamlessly with other key systems and tools in the hospitality industry and offers robust accounting and financial analysis across entire portfolios with optional operations and time management features.

Hoteliers have seen tremendous value in implementing back-office technology, as they help to lower operational costs and increase overall efficiency and accuracy. M3 has onboarded nearly 600 hotels onto its platform since January 2022 alone, providing hoteliers with the ability to bring multiple data points into one platform while enabling them to have an accurate financial and operational snapshot across multiple hotels.

“Many hotels have updated their guest-facing technology but have neglected their back-office technology,” explains M3’s Chief Sales and Marketing Officer, Scott Watson. “This has left hotel accounting and operations teams with manual processes and managing an array of spreadsheets that lack the ability to offer insights at a glance – to make critical business decisions. M3 aims to continue innovation to make all hoteliers’ lives easier.”

Innovation is everything at M3, and it is crucial for the company to work in a fast-paced industry that consistently strives to improve and advance its technology. This comes in the form of an ideas portal called Ideas Gateway™, which harnesses the power of customer feedback in order for M3 to continuously improve and better itself, to ensure that the needs and expectations of customers are met each and every time.

“Great ideas can come from everywhere, and M3 wants to make sure we are listening to the most important source: customers.” Scott said. “Their input is critical to upholding M3’s vision of developing and customizing software to meet the needs of any enterprise. Because of our customers, we are excited to release a new product later this year that will include advanced features that are currently part of the M3 Accounting Core solution and reflect the ongoing evolution of M3’s Accknowledge™ software.”

M3 is focused on continued growth and improving feature functionality for customers. M3 ensures to provide exceptional customer service through its collaborative and inclusive internal culture, which helps to engage and empower its staff members to produce a happy working environment.

As M3 constantly strives to do the right thing for its customers by solving today’s problems and anticipating tomorrow’s needs with forward-thinking products, Scott tells us that the future is looking bright for M3 and its customers.

“We hope to continue simplifying hotel technology and back-office processes for the remainder of 2023,” he states. “We plan to continue releasing state-of-the-art feature functionality to make hoteliers’ lives easier.”
